| Since 1958 IMS has been a leader in the
Industrial Cleaning market. We have cleaned over 10,000 tanks and industrial
areas during this time, ranging from large land based tanks, to shipboard
tanks, to industrial and underground storage tanks, to sludge pits.
IMS also provides high power vacuum services for liquid and solid materials, both hazardous and non-hazardous. We clean oil water separators, truck/automobile wash pits, fly ash pits, and numerous other areas where unwanted products must be removed. We can also arrange for disposal of the recovered products if desired. IMS offers many innovative services such as pipeline pigging-a method to clean pipelines which transport products ranging from petroleum, to liquids, to dry/bulk products. The procedure clears blockages in the pipeline consisting of sludge, debris, solids, etc.. This is accomplished by directing a foam rubber "pig" under high pressure through the pipeline. This cleaning process greatly enhances flow rates and reduces the pressure needed to move products through a pipeline. It is also used when changing products to be carried by the pipeline. This department of IMS also provides pipeline pressure testing, and tank & pipeline inspections, as well as high pressure water blasting, and high pressure sewer cleaning.
